For this particular business a thin client application will be better because the quantum of business is not so huge, it will be easy to deploy and maintain a thin client application because of its low cost, all applications are on the server so any workstation can access whereas thick client application will be expensive and tough to maintain, the shop can switch from thin client to thick client when the quantum of business grows much bigger.
