In Classical conditioning initially a natural reponse occurs to a natural stimulus, that when associated with a neutral stimulus evokes the same response, and this is called classical conditioning. Example, at the sight and smell of one's favorite food dish, mouth watering occurs naturally. If this favorite food of comes in a packet, response get associated to that packet and at the sight of that packet mouth watering may begin, and this is Classical Conditioning behavior.
In classical conditioning, a neutral stimulus evokes conditioned response that previously occured to natural stimulus as a natural response.
In the example, food is the natural or the unconditioned stimulus, mouth watering at the sight of food is unconditioned or natural response. Packet of food is neutral stimulus and the response to it is conditioned response. This behavior or response to a neutral stimulus is classical conditioning behavior.
