Can someone please provide a feedback on the discussion post below. Thank you. It is a marketing management class.
Amazon.com is one of the fastest growing companies to date. Amazon utilizes Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and a company blog in order to reach out to their consumers. What I have noticed on their YouTube channel is that they have a variety of different kinds of videos that all relate to the average consumer. In addition, Amazon is able to use celebrity guests, as well as "average-Joe-looking" actors who are relatable to the public. They utilize tutorial videos to help users with trouble-shooting, as well as displaying newly released products to the market. Recently on Amazon's Facebook page and Twitter account, they have introduced a video that outlines tips for entrepreneurs. It seems entrepreneurship is a common theme displayed on Amazon's Facebook and Twitter. Perhaps this is a way for them to spark new ideas from their consumers that they can then create into reality in the future. In addition, Amazon's blog page has links such as: Supporting small businesses, job creation and innovation. After looking through Amazon's social medial outlets over the past four days it seems that Amazon makes it a priority to invest in their consumers/employees by giving them opportunities to develop their creativity.
The given discussion outlines the primary marketing strategy employed by Amazon. Amazon has been a pioneer in incorporating technology like AI in its business processes. Similarly, Amazon is trying to capitalize on social media to connect with its consumers and create a brand loyalty. Amazon is present on the major social media platforms. It is observed through company’s videos on all social media sites that Amazon is targeting the average consumer market. They are trying to be relatable to the average public or the masses. Various videos have been published which are aimed at guiding the consumers about various products and usability of Amazon. The basic intent is to increase the ease of access of the company by the consumers. A future strategy seems to be based on entrepreneurship. Amazon even offers a platform to the consumers to display their creativity. Amazon surely is trying its best to win its audiences’ hearts.
