Non-governmental: any organization or business which does not entertain a stake by the government, where the government does not influence the structure/function and the core processes and beliefs of the organization can be considered as a non-governmental entity.

Non-profit: a non-profit organization can be any organization where the primary goal/focus is on a cause which is not dictated by finance, what this means is that the decisions, processes, goal and mission statement for any such organization represent its intention towards a cause rather than simply earning a profit. Eg. a charity.

Faith-based: a faith-based organization is one that has its value intertwined with the value of the faith of the people that comprise it. Its mission/goal is always religiously based and it has a particular impact on the society and the culture, the environment around it. It draws its followers from particular faith-based groups.
