INTRA FIRM ACTIVITIES - trade that takes place in same industry among different departments I.e. in services of economic activities

INTER FIRM ACTIVITIES - where they basic purpose is to increase profitability and productivity of businesses involved.

FEATURES OF THESE ACTIVITIES -

INTRA FIRM ACTIVITIES :

  1. Trade is done within the same product category if intra industry
  2. It is hard to quantify
  3. It can only be available through the surveys in firm
  4. To improve operational efficiency
  5. Its basic feature tend to shows the interdependence of each department on each other

INTER FIRM ACTIVITIES :

  1. Concerned with industrial firm as whole.
  2. It is not a survey means rather the outcome of it gives guidance as to how make the working more better
  3. Gives a key insight of the actual success boosting assets
  4. To give firm future targets
  5. To give self analysis of what is actual position if firm i.e. weak or strong
