Different cells shows different potential to generate tumors. Cancer can be developed from any body cells. Epithelial cells can leads to the development of cancer, called carcinoma. Abnormal development of blood cells can cause leukemia, which begins in bone marrow. White blood cells can cause blood cancer named lymphoma.
Cell in the body will perform some repairing work by themselves, if there is any damage. If the cell are not able to repair they will die, some cells in the body will not repair the damages and will not destroy themselves, such damaged cell's division will leads to mutation. Mutation in genes cause cancer by promoting uncontrolled cell division.
