In the simplest of terms, B2B or Business to Business stands for any transactions made within two or more businesses. Every company be it manufacturing or retail (B2C), irrespective of its sector or industry require certain raw materials, goods and services, or professional counsel. Any transaction of the previously mentioned factors between two businesses can be considered B2B transactions.
Concentrating on the B2B marketing space there are numerous agencies and enterprises that aid businesses in marketing themselves in a more effective way. The company I have chosen is Thiel from Milwaukee, WI. Thiel is a medium-sized marketing company that seems to have ample experience in the space of B2B marketing.
Thiel recognise and differentiate themselves around the word "Experience", they believe that when interacting with its customer's brands it shouldn't be a moment of interaction but an entire experience. The entire aesthetic of the companies website revolves around relaying information to the viewer, showcasing the companies work, and demonstrating their marketing prowess through perception. The purpose of their brand is to "establish connections". They believe that genuine brands connect effortlessly with their customer base, but in order to garner brand loyalty businesses need to have an authentic brand personality. Thiel works around constructing brands, personalities and campaigns based on the "why" their clients exist or why they want to sell what they sell. Their purpose is to be a medium or an intermediary that refines and executes ideas of its customers through brand and digital experiences.
My perception of their brand purpose can be substantiated by how uniquely tailored all their campaigns across various sectors have been. The company listens to its client needs and then aims to construct an entire digitally immersive and experience to enhance the aesthetics of its client brands. They fulfil their purpose by delivering experiences of brands of their clients.
