I had to teardown a stapler and figure out how all the part wor together, bit cant seem to get how it all works together , like involving the sprngs and everything.

this is the question i need help with:

How do the parts work together? (of a stapler)

Solutions

Expert Solution

After teardown the stapler you find the following parts:

  1. Metal head
  2. Megazine
  3. anvil
  4. Base
  5. Staples
  6. Pin
  7. Springs
  8. Hangur.
  9. Outer attractive body.

Now lets know the working of all the parts of stapler. Stapler is used to put the pages together with help of push force to staples through paper. Now head is the uper part and base is lower part of stapler is connected to each other by hangar. Megazine is located in between the base and head is generally made up of stainless steel and connected to head in which staples are inserted against the force of spring. At the back of the head there is pin which is used to swing up and down the head for loading the staples. Spring inside the megazine have two purposes first is used for pushing the staples forward and another purpose is to retract the head above after the staples the papers. On the bend there is anvil which is used for bending the staples in u shape for making proper bond.
