As the economy has increased by
several percents on the same side income of the people has
increased and now they have started living a high standard life and
their first priority for a good life is to have a good quality home
and quality office. This has raised the importance of construction
firms and they have to provide constructed products with utmost
quality. There are numerous construction companies competing with
each other and one of the first best things that customers are
attracted to is the quality of work but there are several
difficulties companies are facing.
Now let us discuss some difficulties
in achieving quality in construction and how to avoid them.
- The first and most important
element that raises the issue is the quality of products used in
construction and this is the reason when the bad quality products
are used it directly affects the quality of construction. To avoid
this issue organizations should prepare a quality measurement chart
and only buy and use those products which satisfy the needs from
that quality chart.
- Execution of work is also very
crucial for better results. The work not executed with proper
caution and proper management can lead to poor quality of
construction and this can be only done when each and every work is
totally monitored carefully and checked after it is completed
before moving to the next step.
- Several times there are some
situations that some of the parts of constructions are done
according to the given situation and not as per planned. This can
seriously ruin all the planning and execution of work. This can be
only resolved when the management is informed about the situation
and discussed with them and then evaluate if this can affect the
quality or not. This will make decision making much more
efficient.
- Communication plays a vital role in
construction but sometimes this does not happen due to many reasons
for instance high work load or any dispute with other people
working on the site. This can affect the quality of the
construction as there is a lack of communication. This can be
resolved by motivating the employees and workers to directly
contact the supervisor or management for any issue and always
document the work that they have done and what next need to be done
this will make everyone responsible documenting the details and the
next person to start work knows what and how the work need to be
continued.
