Ans- The diital services along with mobile, social media and internet have become a most common ways that have affected our news consumption habits. We will discuss the six major trends findings from Pew Research Center regarding todays media :

(a) News goes online:- The gap between television and online news is narrowing. Internet is the main source of news (eg,twitter). People have started to prefer apps, social media, websites over television and radio broadcast.

(b) News over mobile have increased:- The younger generation have started to get news over mobile phones. This has minimized the use of television and radios. The use of laptop and desktop are at stabe use.  

(c) Social Media have become a recent trend:- The research says that 19% of Americans get their news over social network. These social network can be facebook, twitter. These media helps to get news headlines and also we can watch news report.

(d) Elder and older adults have moved to mobile use for news:- More than 85% adults are over mobile news in America. Even the lower income hosehold have also started for mobile news. They either get news over tablets or mobile phone and found this as more convinient mode of getting news.

(e) Confussion because of the fabricated news:- Almost 64% U.S. adults believe that fabricated news ceate confussion. People also say that they see the made up news. These made up news hampers trust and create confussion and waste time watching them. People say that these news organisation are political biased, and spend so much time on unimportant stories. Hence they prefer internet as a main news source.

(f) Gazing the news is popular among online readers:- Most people checks the news time to time, and the young generation checks news when they want. Twitter is more popular during disaster or getting perfect news and eyewitness reports and passing information and reaction to others.
