The measurement of heat loss through egg shell and the thermal energy contained in a boiled egg.
Deriving the convection heat transfer coefficient between the egg shell and ambient air might be the key in solving this question.
How can I determine this through experimentation?
Thermal energy contained in a bolied egg and heat loss may be calculated mainly based on the three factors which are given below
1. The air temperature
2. Heat transfer coefficient between the egg shell and it's microenvironment.
3. Time dependent heat production
We can find out this by doing experiment like first boiled the egg and find out that how much energy we have given to that and we know the heat transfer coefficient so we can find out the heat loss by equation.
Beacuse to maintain the temperature of egg shell that much energy is required to be supplied which is lossed due to the heat loss.
