Any type of analysis regarding ionic solute is done assuming ions to be ideal.
By saying ideal we mean that negative and positive species of the ionic solution do not interact with each other but this is not true in real life.
Suppose we had a solution of AgCl.
after making AgCl solution the ions break into Ag+ and Cl-
in Ideal solution we do not assume Ag+ and Cl- to interact with each other but in real world they do, which is obvious, as negative and positive species interact with each other due coulumbic force.
