1) When compound dissolve in a water ,the water molecule attract and "bond" to the particles (molecules ,ion) of the compound causing the practical to separate from each other.
2) The "bond" that a water molecule makes is strong attraction caused by water' s polarity.this bond is not covalent or ionic bond.
3) it takes energy to break the bonds between the molecules or ions of the solute.
4)Energy is released when water molecule bond to the solute molecule or ions.
5) if it takes more energy to separate the particals of the solute than is released when the water molecules bond to the particle. then the temperature goes down.hens reaction is called as endothermic reaction.
