Discuss the factors that contributes to the lack of tour operator offering online booking for their packages despite computer and mobile phone applications that have been created to support many aspects of travel, including travel guides, customer reviews, with hotel and flight reservations.
Factors are:
1) Lack of knowledge:
This point states that people do not have complete knowledge about the online booking of tickets, and prefer to book tickets offline by visiting the agents. These people have never booked their tickets online, and they always prefer to buy tickets online, whether it is of the airplane, hotel.
2) Internet access:
This point states that not every person has internet access with them by which they can not book the tickets of airlines, hotels online. These people prefer to buy the tickets from their known agents, and with this, only they get satisfaction.
3) Location:
This point states that sometimes, people prefer not to book tickets online because they cannot visit the location as a person, which sets the drawback of the online booking for the customers. Despite of having applications and mobile's, people prefer to visit the location first.
4) Fraudulent activities:
This point states that there are many cases of fraudulent activities in which customers book the tickets online, and after reaching the location, there is no booking from the customer's name. That is the reason people prefer to visit the location first instead of booking the location online.
