1. A researcher compared the adjustment of adolescents who had been raised in homes that were either very structured or very unstructured. Thirty adolescents from each type of family completed an adjustment inventory. The results are reported in the table below. Write the results as you would for the results section and the discussion section of your paper. Be sure to use APA format.

Social Maturity Scale :
Given the mean score of adolescents in unstructured homes is 113.94.
And the mean score of adolescents in structured homes is 106.82.
Therefore the mean score of adolescents in unstructured home is slightly greater than the structured homes adolescent score.
Thus they are not statically significant.
i.e., that they is no significant difference in the mean adjustment score.
So do not reject.
School Adjustment Scale :
Given the mean score of adolescents in unstructured homes is 107.22.
And the mean score of adolescents in structured homes is 116.31.
The test static is 2.03 then this is statically significant.
Then there is a significant difference in the mean adjustment score between the adolescents in structured and unstructured homes.
From the mean values, the mean adjustment score of adolescents in structured homes is significantly greater than that of unstructured home adolescents.
So reject.
Identity Development :
The mean adjustment score of adolescents in unstructured homes is 94.32.
And the mean adjustment score of adolescents in structured homes is 89.48.
The value of t test statistic is 1.93 this is statistically significant.
Thus, there is a significant difference in the mean adjustment score between the adolescents in very structured and unstructured homes.
From the mean values, the mean adjustment score of adolescents in structured homes is significantly greater than that of unstructured home adolescents.
So reject.
Intimacy Development :
Given the mean score of adolescents in unstructured homes is 104.33.
And the mean score of adolescents in structured homes is 102.25.
Therefore the mean score of adolescents in unstructured homes is slightly greater than the structured home adolescents score.
Thus they are not statistically significant.
i.e., that there is no significant difference in the mean adjustment score.
So do not reject.
