Solving the first four sub parts

1.A polynomial is considered an expression which consists of variables and their coefficients involving the mathematical operations,for an example x^2+2*x+9 is a polyonimial of degree 2. Polynomials appear in a lot of areas in mathematics whereas rational fuction is defined as a function which is defined by a fraction which is also rational or what we can call is that in rational function both numerators and denominators are polynomials.

2.The concepts needed to accomodate polynomials are basic maths operations like addition subtraction multiplication division and the concept of base and power and graphs and for rational fractions the concept u need to be familiar with are rational numbers fractions and polynomials.

4.Day to day usage of polynomials for ex when you do the math in a grocery store say you buy for ex 2 cauliflower (let cost of 1 couliflower be x) and 5 brinjals(let cost of 1 brinjal be y) to calculate total you sum it up with the equation 2*x+5*y which is the required amount.For rational numbers even you could think of the same example just taking the denominator as 1 or using cost price in fraction
