1. The physical processes that can occur during each stage of the Big Bang depend in part on the temperature of the Universe at that stage.
A. True
B. False
The answer to the question is True.
This can be explained when we talk about Cosmic Microwave Background. This Background gives information about the universe today by giving as these background is microwave. The universe is treated as a black body and therefore when we extrapolate in time we are able to find the temperature of that stage. However we can not go beyond the age of 350,000 years time of the universe i.e we can't go back in time before this time.
Cosmic Microwave Background can give information fails to explain the physical processes before 350,000 years of age of universe hence Cosmic Neutrino Background comes into picture.
But the problem with Cosmic neutrino Background is that neutrinos of such low temperature of 1.95 K and the energy of 10-4 to 10-6 eV is very hard to detect. Even high energy neutrinos are very difficult to detect, and the CNB has energies around 10?10 times smaller, so the CNB may not be directly observed in detail for many years, if at all. However, Big Bang cosmology makes many predictions about the CNB, and there are very strong indirect evidences that the CNB exists. The cosmic Neutrino Background can explain the stages of big bang upto 1 second of the age of universe.
