A. You are jogging and your lower limbs are constantly sending
sensory position/proprioceptive info to your cerebellum, and
your cerebellum is sending output to your primary motor cortex,
which then modifies your Lateral Corticospinal tract.
This makes a spinal cord-cerebellum-cerebrum-spinal cord“loop” to control your leg muscles.
List all the structures, tracts, nuclei, decussations, cells, etc to describe this loop. Start with afferent spinal nerves from the legs.
B.
You are on the field, about to kick the winning field goal in the big football game!
Your brain makes a motor “plan” and sends this info into the cerebellum, which then sends output to the LCT to coordinate the muscles of
your Right leg. List all the structures, tracts, nuclei, decussations, cells, etc to describe this cerebrum-cerebellum-cerebrum loop. Start with the Left Prefrontal cortex.
