Chapter 8SU8, Problem 6RQ
Why should a toolpath be verified on the screen of a CAM system
prior to creating the program code?
Thanks!
Elementary Linear Algebra (2nd Edition) . Chapter 6.5, Problem
64E. Please explain. I can calculate for the first column, but not
the second. F(3;1) - F(-2;1) =Q(5;0)=(-3;4) =Q(5(1;0))=(-3;4)
=>Q(1;0)=((-3/5);(4/5)) As you can see, I can solve for the
first column, but I am stuck at the second one using this method.
The problem is I cannot find a vector I can add (1;0) to to get
some kind of (0;x) vector. Please help. I would appreciate it very
much.
Risk Management and Insurance 2nd Edition Chapter 11 Problem 1
Solution. Can you explain how to do this problem? How did you come
up with the marginal cost and marginal benefit numbers?
Thank you,
Sam

Assume that the managers of the Fort
Winston Hospital are setting the price on a new outpatient service.
Here are the relevant data estimates:
Variable Cost Per
Visit
$5.00
Annual Direct fixed
Cost
$500,000
Annual overhead
allocation $50,000
Expected annual
utilization 10,000 visits
What per visit price must be set for the service to break-even?
To earn an annual profit of $100,000?

a) What is the difference between accuracy and precision?
b) What is the difference in resolution between the instruments:
Dial Caliper and Micrometer caliper? In order words, what is the
lowest division in mm that we can read in each one of these
instruments?
c) How do you relate calibration and accuracy? Explain.
2) In the Experiment Newton’s Second Law, explain with your own
words, a) the relation that you found between acceleration and
mass. What did you keep...
