1. (C)
In a matrix structure, the authority of a functional manager flows downwards, and the influence of the project manager flows horizontally. In this structure, an employee, let's say an engineer, may report to two managers, his permanent functional manager, and a temporary project manager. The matrix structure is a composite of the project and the functional structure. Here, the knowledge, skills, or talent of an employee can be shared.
2. (C)
As an ethical practice, it is required by us to disclose all the information regarding the product or service that we are delivering. In this case, once we have a discussion with the customer about the defect and an explanation is provided to them, the customer would be happy to extend the deadline and will open the avenues for future business as well.
3. (D) Configuration Management Plan
It is defined as, how we will manage changes to deliverables and the resulting documentation, including which organizational tools we will use. During the planning process, everything is thoroughly planned, however, there are a lot of changes that occur during the course of the project. For eg, we may encounter bugs in an application and they need to be rectified. A configuration management plan will make sure all this is documented including the version of the application.
