If the FLN is uniquely human, and was acquired through adaptive evolution, what “faculty” might it have evolved from? What aspect of the nonhuman prime mind is homologous to the FLN?
FLN stands for narrow faculty of language and is unique to humans and development and evolution of language. This has been developed and evolved as adaptive evolution for communication and it has evolved from sensory motor systems that were adapted for this language. The development of the FLN takes place through finite set of elements which is able to produce an infinite collection of discrete expressions. These collection of discrete collection is further process through the sensory motor and conceptual-intention system and hence the information is expanded. There is a sound that is processed which is related to the communication and language. This is specifically for humans and there is no analog that includes animal communication.
The part of the non human mind which is homologous to FLN is the FLB as it is homologous to the communication by humans. FLB is the homologous which exist only in the non-human animals and it is a complex language adaptation. It is complex which helps in establishing in increasing the communication and it is able to increase and derive the functional complexes. FLB is not uniquely human and FLB is designed and computed based on the non-human animals.
