The table below illustrates a process model of a person, in which there are only two states:
sleeping and waking. The states of this process model are as follows:
The transitions between the two states of a person are:
Waking-> Sleeping (Person is tired and lays down to sleep)
Sleeping -> Waking (Alarm clock goes off and wakes the person from sleep)
a. Add three more states to the diagram (for example, eating or studying)
b. State all of the possible transitions among the five states.

3. Eating -> Studying (Person was hungry. After completing
Eating, he concentrates on study )
4. Studying -> Walking (After studying for 2 hours, he is little
tired and needs some fresh air, so went to walk )
5. Walking -> Studying( After a walk of 1 km, he again back to
his study room for studying)
6. Studying -> Eating (After doing all his homework ,he went to
dinner table for Dinner and started eating)
7. Eating -> Walking( After finishing dinner, he went for a
brisk walk before go to bed)
8. Waling -> Sleeping( After finishing walk , he went to bedroom
for his sleep)
9. Waking -> Eating (After getting up from sleep at early
morning, he takes his morning tea)
10. Studying -> Sleeping (He completed a mathematical puzzle
solving exercise ,now he need some rest of his brain, so he went to
take a small sleep a nap in fact :))
