Discuss the elements of cellular structure that make the cell viable and able to withstand changes.

Solutions

Expert Solution

We know the cell we have have different types of components. Enveloped by the plasma membrane we have a cytoplasm in it where all the organelles float.

To remain viable and to withstand changes cells need protection and the organelles responsible to make these changes. The plasma membrane itself is a protector. It protects from external changes and as it is a lipid bilayer foreign particle invasion can be prevented.

We know cells have nucleus and it's the main part. It produces mRNA responsible for protein synthesis and have genetic material. By identifying the need the protein synthesis is strated from here. The Genetic materials presence makes it vaible. Any change in the cell is made by the genetic material.

Mitochondria is another structure where anergy synthesis takes place. With the change in the external environment mitochondria has the capacity to produce heat and keep warm. For the viability cells need energy produced by mitochondria.

The ribosomes are necessary to produce the proteins and this is the nutrient for the cell function and plasma membrane.so without this cell can't live. With any change if the cell demands enough protein to maintain the working ribosomes contribute to it.

The endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus helps in the supply of processed protein.

If we look in the way like this every component in the cell function together to make the cell viable and withstand against every change.
