                                     In muscle tissue, there are three types of tissue, which consists of specialized contractile cells.

• 1. Skeletal muscle tissue, also described as skeletal, striated, stripped or voluntary muscle. Each cell commonly called as fiber, has several nuclei situated just under sarcolemma.
• 2. Smooth muscle tissue, also described as visceral, non-striated or involuntary. The cells are spindle shaped with one central nucleus.
• 3. Cardiac muscle tissue, found exclusively in the wall of heart, which is not under conscious control. Each cell has nucleus and one or more branches.
