Design an longitudinal and cirvumferential connections for boilers that are 2.4 meters in diameter and loaded with pressure of 1 N / mm2. The longitudinal joint is made with a triple riveted butt model with an efficiency of about 85% and its cirvumferential connection is a double riveted lap with an efficiency of 70%. The pitch of the outer rivet of the rivet is twice the inner row and the width of the plate cover is not the same. The allowed stresses are:

Assume the rivet resistance to the dual shear force is 1875 times larger than a single shear force.
