Simple random sample:

In this sampling selection , each business selected using random number table .

There is equal chance to get each business.

b) Postal ZIP codes to divide the state into regions. Pick a random sample of 10 ZIP Code areas and then include all the businesses in each selected ZIP Code area

Cluster sampling:

In this section entire population into pre existing clusters. Make a random selection of clusters.

Include every member of each selected cluster in the sample.

c)A team of 5 research assistants to bishop street in downtown Honolulu .

Each researcher can have the rest of the day off after getting responses from 20 different businesses.

Convenience sampling:

This sampling does run the risk of being severally biased . Sample by using data from population members that are readily available.

In this selection , number all members of the population sequentially , and in this starting point selected at random , include every k th member of the population in the sample.

Stratified sampling :
In this samplin selection , divide the entire population into distinct groups as medical, shipping, retail,manufacturing, financial, construction, restaurant, hotel, tourism, other.
