Answer 1-2 sentences in each question.
1. Title (Conveys an important message and grabs the reader's attention)
2. Take home message (Conveys the important take ome message in enough detail to grab the reader's attention with the ecological content.)
3. Context (Provides enough context to provide the reader with a deeper understanding of why the message is important and relevant to some larger idea.)
4. Supporting information (There is enough detail for the reader to understand what the scientists did and what the found.)
Ans 1) Title- The title indicates that the female ocellated wrasse makes a choice while it goes for sexual selection. The copying of the choice in the wild populations hence makes the sexual selection diverse.
Ans2) The research is about in case of the wild population of the ocellated wrasse, it has been always parental dominating. However, recently it has been found that the female one has become independent and their influence can influence the overall behaviour. It was found that females tend to spawn more in presence of other female in the same nest with the male as an attempt of partnership.
Ans 3) Content – The content is all about understanding how a female wrasse responds to the mating success with the partner as well to the presence of other spawning female. It helps in identification of sexual selection
Ans 4) The observation shows that female choice along with male care is consistent as the female seeks direct benefits from the male partner. This gives a fair idea of mating behaviour of female and how it influences sexual selection.
