Expert Solution

There were three ways of resistance to slavery which are explained below:

The rebellion form of resistance was the most drastic form of resistance which involved violence by slaves against the people who owns them. Very few slaves were agreed upon in this type of resistance as it was very dangerous and there had very few chances of success.

The second form of resistance to slavery was escape. Slaves were deprived their owners of their property. It could hurt them in economic terms as well as in terms of their prestige. This form of resistance was common than rebellion as it could lead to freedom. But it was not terribly common either because the chances of success were very less in this form of resistance too.

The most common form of resistance to slavery was subtle way in which slaves purposefully worked poorly or very slowly. This was the everyday form of resistance. They willfully broke the instruments or tools of owners during work and harm as much as they could which ultimately harm the finances of owners. They proved that their productivity would very less.
