It also helps the managers to judge the accuracy and efficiency of the standards. Standards are either quantitative or qualitative. The process helps the managers to determine the standards for the future course of action also. The next importance is that the process also helps the company to make fair use of resources. The resources are scarce, and the enterprises have to make fair and optimal use of society's resources. They must return the resources to the society sustainably and efficiently. The process also helps the management motivate the employees because it helps them put their full efforts with dedication to get positive progress reports. The process of controlling also ensures that there is order and discipline in the company. Controlling is a function that ensures order in the company. The management takes care of the discipline and proper functioning of the employees. Hence, it is crucial to the management process.
