At first, isolationist sentiments prevailed, but eventually the US entered the conflict. Besides developements of the overseas conflict, the next few years of a "war economy" had an enormous inpact on the nature of work and the workforce that left a lasting legacy.

2. In the period 1940-1945, the US would go into a "war economy" that dramatically impacted the American economy and society.

A. USA faces so many changes during the war economy period and that affects the economy in various ways. These changes are.

1. Expenditure cut- USA government increase their expenditure on war. this will directly impacted to cut the expenditure on social welfare projects and this will leads to the stopping of various projects in the country.

2. Internal issues- War economy can have trouble with it. In this period government makes the more focus on war but in that situation government losses focus on internal issues that will leads to more unemployment and malnutrition into the peoples.

B.The war impact drastically on US society and work during the war. When we see that employment generation rate or the employment rate.This both the rates are the high and government not able to grneratg the work for the people. Unemployment rate also increased day bu day. it affects the US dociets badly. Peoples dont had the money to spend and they are suffers from various diseases. that time there was an spanish flue. But then also government ignore this and focuses on the war. But this war destroyes the US economy and society. The impact are shown now a days also.

C. When we think about the society and our society nowadays we can find a major difference. in the wartime people even dont have the basic goods. they faces so many problems including shortage of foods , then they dont have a good healthcare facility as well government also neglects them and focuses on the war. That time was very much different from the present. Todays we get everything what we need. We have foid, shelter and education as well we have the best hospital to tackle the various diseases.But the wartime people dont have anything from this.childrens was died because of malnutrition. people also committed suicides because theu dont ave the jobs and dont have money to run the family and fullfill the basic needs.

There are so many sources from we can read this. Like there are authors who write about the wartime and its impact. we can have the glimpse from Anne franks diary. then there are various war movies also who shows the condition of the people. i reads article about it on google.
