If the line of best fit for your torque speed curve is described by the following equation, calculate the no-load speed of the motor. T= -0.021x+0.32
Here it is given that we have to find the no-load speed of the motor.
At no load motor runs on maximum speed i.e at that point torque acted to this is zero.
The no-load speed or maximum speed of the motor is denoted by n
From torque and speed equation we can find the speed at zero torque.
As the equation of torque and speed of a curve is given as T= -0.021x + 0.32
Where x = speed and T torque.
Now when torque is zero the line has Y intercept zero i.e torque is zero
Putting T = 0 in equation
0 = -0.021x + 0.32
x = 0.32/0.021
x = 15.2 rad/sec
The no load speed of motor (n) is 15.2 rad/sec
