a. That the instructor opposes the policy or is an ECTE instructor.
b. That the instructor teaches in HSS and is opposed to the policy.
c. That an instructor is not in favor of the policy.
d. That an instructor opposes the policy given that they teach in MSHP.

MSHP | 9 | 22 | 3 | 34 |
HSS | 27 | 14 | 9 | 50 |
ECTE | 25 | 9 | 2 | 36 |
column total | 61 | 45 | 14 | 120 |
a).the probabilities that the instructor opposes the policy or is the ECTE instructor is :-
= total number of instructor opposes the policy + total number of ECTE instructor - number of ECTE instructor who opposes the policy/ total number of instructors.
b).the probability that the instructor teaches in HSS and opposed to the policy is:-
= number of instructors teaches in HSS and opposed to the policy / total number of instructors.
c).the probability that the instructor is not in favor of the policy is :-
= (120 - number of instructor who are in favor of the policy ) / total number of instructors.
d).the probability that an instructor opposes the policy given that they teach in MSHP is :-
= number of instructors who opposes the policy and teach in MSHP / total number of teachers who teach in MSHP
