Introduction
For the economic progress of any society in general, both profit and non profit organizations play an increasingly important and pivotal role in shaping the country.
Each country requires for its existence therefore, organizations of both types which can cater to the needs and wants of people by either social welfare, or providing quality goods and services and thus generating jobs in the same as well.
The non profit sector, has rapidly evolved thanks to the tax rebates that profit making companies get if they also have a non profit venture in their overall portfolio. Previously the sector was limited to government companies only but has also extended to other counterparts respectively.
Case Specifics:-
Equity refers to equal treatment of everyone within the organization and beyond. Equity is seen as a measure of how responsible a company is with respect to its overall performance.
Over the years, since non profit organizations have been funded with private money, their interests have been limited to the betterment of a handful number of people which are decided by the top management. As a result of this, non profit companies have been known to be struggling with equity issues in which their overall development though good, has been effected by inefficient policy making which has questioned the equity of companies respectively.
Companies have failed to deliver equal conditions for all stake holders because their focus has been limited in approach. Thus, this effects the overall image and brand value of the non profit stakes it holds also.
How do organizations improve their language use, and why it could be an important shift in today's society?
Organizations over the years, have realized the importance of inclusion. Non profit organizations increasingly are shifting their focus to realizing the importance of equity within the organization and beyond it to customers and other interest groups also.
Companies pay prime attention to the language they use in their corporate communication it is an important shift. Companies realize the importance of being able to communicate their intentions in the best possible way and manner such that its corporate strategies are clearly reflected in the minds of the consumers.
Companies have grown to realize that their growth is not possible without inclusion of diversity and this has been the emerging trend in both profit and non profit organizations respectively. Giving out clear messages and correcting mistakes, also social corporate responsibility and its use has become an increasingly important factor respectively.
