Expert Solution

Behaving in an ethical manner in a hotel industry is one of the most important aspect of surviving in a competitive environment. If u dont show and adhere to your ethics, the customer and employees may choose to be on ur competitors side. There is so much competition, as these hotels are generally crowded in a particular area giving customers a variety of choice.

Pretending to be an employee in a hotel business, I need to be ethically right to be successful. And to be successfull i would be required to behave and act in a certain ethical way.

  • I would not mislead others by showing them a rosy picture n not show them what reality is. I would be honest with others be it customers or co- workers.
  • I would be loyal to my employers and would not leak out information to competitors. I would be friendly with co-workers in times of need. I would devote myself to the work assigned to me and do it to the best i can.
  • I would be respectful towards others and treat others with compassion.
  • I would give my duty more than what I gain out of it.
  • I would take responsibility and accountability for my actions and I and only I would be responsible for any good or bad that may happen due to me.
  • I would try and be a good example for others to follow.
  • I would not take undue advantage of anothers problems. I would be fair in whatever I do.
