Selecting a specific implementation strategy. What strategy would you select when a orgaization was predominantly a structural frame team, but need to be a human resource frame organization in the same enviorment. Why you chose the specific implementation strategy. and how would you implement it?
The specific implementation strategy to ensure that an organization has both structural frame and human resources frame is ‘Reframing Change’. There are several barriers to change for both the frames in the organization. The implementation strategies are based on the level of the barriers to the change.
Barriers to change for a structural frame are loss of clarity and stability, confusion and chaos. Since the organization views employees as a mass of separate business groups such as marketing team, sales team, the employees resist change due to loss of clear cut communication and less stability of their positions. Each family member has their own strengths, weaknesses, needs and expectations. The organization needs to first assess the needs of the employees and develop a structure to effectively meet these needs. This is the basic concept of a human resources frame.
