Drag Coefficient and Effect of Angle of Attack on sphere

Please in computer not hand writing

Solutions

Expert Solution

When a body is either unsymmetrical or has its axis not aligned with the flow direction, both the pressure and shear forces manifest. Their combined effect yields a resultant force F which can be resolved into lift and drag.

Drag force is defined by :-

Where CD is Drag Coefficient

All the information regarding shape of object and air is consider in drag coefficient

A given rigid body subjected to aerodynamic analysis can be characterized by its shape size and orientation relative to free stream velocity. The orientation is refered to as angle of attack

Sphere has symmetry along all the three axis therefore the angle of attack never varies. Infact the angle of attack for the sphere is always zero.

I am exploiting a buffer overflow attack and need to find three pieces of information in Linux using gdb. 1) The address of the function system 2) The address of the function parameter for system() which is /bin/sh. /bin/ parameter is what will spawn a shell 3) The address of a function that can exit the shell. I was able to use gbd commands to find the first two but what command would I use to find the address of...

I need the steps for this problem. If a runner (perpendicular area = 0.6 m2; fluid density = 1.14 kg/m3; Cd = 0.5) completes a marathon (26.2 miles) in three hours, while running against a 10-mph headwind throughout the race, how much more work will she have performed against the air, relative to completing the marathon in the same time on a still day (no wind)? Answer: ~395 KJ

For a lab, I need to be able to identify an ionic compound out of 50 other ionic compounds. There is a long list of Cations and Anions that assemble for each compound. We have to develop a procedure to identify which of the ionic compound we have. I have no idea how to begin such a proceadure. Any help is appreciated.
