1. Explain the reason to award the 2017 Noble Prize in Chemistry.
2. Describe the technique of cryoelectron microscopy (CEM)?
1. On 4 October 2017 the Nobel Prize was given for the discovery of cryo electron microscope to the three scientistJacques Dubochet, Joachim Frank and Richard Henderson to develop cryo-electron microscopy.
2. Cryo electron microscope is the technique in which electron are projected on the biological specimen or biomolecule which is preserved at ultra low temperature about -196 degree centigrade. In previous Technology we use x-ray to determine the structure of biomolecules after crystallization of specimen due to which the natural state of biomolecules maybe change. But in this technique we can determine the structure of specimen in its native state
