1. Carbohydrate metabolism= insulin and glucagon
Insulin released by beta cells of pancreas after taking food and causes glucose utilization by cells..
Glucagon have opposite effects
2. Protein metabolism= anabolic effect on protein synthesis caused by growth hormone , insulin, glucocoticoids, thyroid hormone
3. Fat metabolism= fat storer is insulin
Fat burner is growth hormone , thyroid, glucagon
