flash separator is a device used for separating liquid and vapour in a liquid -vapour mixture. it is used at different places such as in boiler at a power plant.

by avoiding the condensation of steam and deareation process at operational level, and keeping the diameter to height ratio at designing level, the efficiency of the sepparator can be improved.

diameter and height has huge effect on operation and capacity of the flash separtor. by incresing the diameter to height to height , the efficiency increases as it avoids condensation of the vapour. at the same time capasity of the separator can be improved by increeing the both diameter and height.
