Question # 4. a. Following are the two examples of the each type of emotions:

Anger: Shouting on a subordinate, Frowining on someone in the team.

Fear: Frightened, rapid heart breathing, withdrawal from challenging tasks.

Sadness: Withdrawal from group activity, Crying due to some reason.

Happiness: Smiling face, Very cordial, and pleasant speaking with other team members.

Disgust: turning away from food which person disliked, wrinkling of the nose on someone's remark

Surprise: Screaming in joy, Jumping after listening to the good news or project success.

Question # 4. b. All these six emotions can surface in the workplace based on the situation. The above examples are given for the six different types of emotions that are from the workplace only. While our daily routine at workplace we must go through these emotions at different times and situations.

Question # 4. c. A manager can control the emotions and mood of the employee by the application of emotional intelligence. A manager with better emotional intelligence will be able to better understand and comprehend the employee's emotion and their expectation from the workplace and team. They will be able to control up to some extent but it can not be controlled completely as these emotions are natural and bound to come in some or other way.
