What is phugoid and short period modes? Does it occur when the airplane disturb externally or control from pilots?

What is phugoid and short period modes? Does it occur when the airplane disturb externally or control from pilots? Like there is an airplane in a steady state. Suddenly, It has been disturbed. Then the airpalne try to stabilize with short period ocsillation and then phugoid by itself like it try to trim or all the stuff are controlled by pilots? Is it necessary that the airplane damp in short period modes and then phugoid? Is it possible that the plane only damp in short period modes or phugoid?

For each of the following, specify if a reaction does or does not occur when the two reagents are combined, and justify your choice of reaction or no reaction. For each combination where a reaction does occur, write balanced molecular and net ionic equations for that reaction.
