Describe the Web Site Strategies.
Web Site Strategies
Web Site strategies are those strategies that we use in the case of designing, redesigning, or improving a web site. Defining the target audience is the first part of the web site strategies. The profile of an ideal visitor of a particular web site has to be defined in this regard. The next part of the web site strategy is to decide on the structure of the website. Having a good web site structure will help the users to easily navigate through a web site. Once we finalize the structure of the web site, we have to create a vision for different pages on the web site. Next, we have to decide on the contents of the web site. The content of the web site has to be relevant and appropriate to the targetted group of users. Now we have to tell the targeted group of users about the existence of the website. Advertisements, press releases, emails, etc shall be used for creating publicity for a website. Then web site optimization also has to take place, it helps the web site to appear on the first page of the search engine. Further, as part of the web site strategy, we shall measure the traffic towards a web site by using different tools. We could also make a continuous effort to differentiate a particular website compared to its competitors.
