Modern ecology was born into a science upon the realization that human activities were negatively affecting Earth’s ecosystems and while the ocean was once thought to be too vast to be impacted we now know that is not true. Is there value in asking ecological questions without considering human interactions? Support your argument by discussing three topics

Ecosystem once thought as a closed and self regulating entity but today's human-dominating ecosytem emerge from interaction between human and ecological processes. We all no that human interaction affect it negetively by many ways like over consumption of its resources, land and air conversion, alteration of its flora and fauna, etc.

• Excessive use of fossils fuels affected earth's carbon cycle. As a result amount of green house gases increasingday-by-day which in turn brings climate changes. Air polution cause soil acidification and disrupt oxygen cycle. Unexpected climate conditions like drought, flood negatively affected earth's flora and fauna.
• Increasing demand of land for food and home and demand of trees for fuel and timber is resposible for excessive cutting of trees. At least half of the world forest disappear till now. Many species lost their habitat due to this deforestation. Consequences of deforestation are soil erosion, loss of biodiversity, disruption of water cycle.
• Increase human activities like agricultural expansion, shifting cultivation, construction are responsible for the depletion of flora and fauna. Hunting, poaching kill animal. Construction work pollute the habitat of animals and plants. It also reduce availability of essential nutrients. Selection of particular plantation by human also change diversity of ecosystem.

So, it is clear that we cannot discuss questions about ecosystem without discussing humasn interaction with it.
