Does it make sense to buy in bulk? Why or why not? What products would be better to buy in bulk? What are the benefits and costs for the manufacturer and the consumer with bulk purchases?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Yes, buying in bulk is quite a good option depending on the product we are purchasing because buying in bulk may actually save our time and efforts as well. Products like that we use for daily needs are better to buy in bulk and in business the raw materials and ingredients required to make the finished product are better to buy in bulk, it will help the business or individual save money along with that the time and effort in purchasing. For manufacturer as well as for consumers as well bulk purchase is quite beneficial but it should be planned and executed properly so that the purchase actually helps and does not turn out to be a failure. Products which will persist or sustain for at least some time should be purchased in bulk but sensitive products should be avoided, an organization should be aware of what they should purchase in bulk and not so that it helps their business in the process.
