Microbes perform many beneficial processes from humans, examples of such activities are :

Microbes helps in boosting our immunity. Microbes like Bacillus in our digestive tract bind with our immune cells and help in killing the harmful bacteria in our body.

Microbes also help us in developing better biotechnological tools like the gene CRISPR Cas 9 found from microbes produces Cas 9 protein which can be used in gene editting and site directed mutagenesis.

Microbes are also used on industrial scales for processes like fermentation. Majorly Saccharomyces is used to fermented sugars from plants to produce alcohol products.

Microbial activities like degradation of organic waste and turning in into manure also helps in keeping the food chain running as it not only suffice the nutrition needs of microbes but also nourish the growth of produces i.e. plants.
