feelings toward math

I will talk about my feelings about math, my good and bad math years, and what I expect from myself this year. I have always liked math and I have always been good at math. I say I've always been good at math because I've always gotten good grades in math. My math teachers were always really nice to me. I was constantly helping out other students and it was fun for me. I didn't ever really feel challenged by math until I got to college. I remember my freshman year at Aligarh state I received my first Bachelor in math. It was a difficult course. I worked so hard for that. It was frustrating. I realized I never learned to study. Since I couldn't bear the thought of getting yet another bad grade in math, I decided to join a study group. Wow! That made all the difference in the world. I never again received another bad grade in math. Since I'm a PhD scholar, this year I hope to give myself confidence.. I also want to teach the student how to study, since I never learned to study until I got to college.

Positive Feelings

I like math, it allows me to practice my critical thinking. I find maths interesting and challenging. It’s like a puzzle you can manipulate to find the exact element. Math is important because you need it every day in life when dealing with people, space, purchasing, quantity and etc. I have always liked math and feel that children learn so much more from it.

Negative Feelings

I always hated math. My dislike of math began in the 2nd grade. Math scares me I just don’t understand it. Math gave me A LOT of anxiety in school and college. It was very challenging for me, math is not my favourite subject. Math is a foreign language to me that I do not understand.

Mathematics in daily life

Math is very useful in everyday life. Math can help us do many things that are important in our everyday lives. Here are some daily tasks for which math is important:
