It is said that culture is the single most important factor accounting for success or failure in Organisations. Discuss.
Organisational culture is very important in order to determine the success or failure of an organisation because organisational culture is a set of behaviour and ethical standards that an organisation is bound to follow in order to stay disciplined and ethical and it also caters to the needs of the society in the long run so that the profits can be maximized and the value of shareholders can also be maximized.
In the contemporary world, organisational behaviour is always emphasized by majority of the organisations who wants to succeed in the long run, because it involves adaptation to a set of principles and culture which is incorporated in the ethics as well as day to day management of the company and which will help the organisation in attainment of its future objective in a better way so it can be said that organisation who have a better set of organisational culture and behaviour are more bound to succeed in the long run than an organisation who does not have any of them.
so it can be summed up that organisational culture is the need of the hour and organisation must adopt to a set of rules and ethics which would be incorporated in the day-to-day life to help the organisation in attainment of its goals and objective by following a discipline set of organisational culture.
