Expert Solution

(c) make a presentation to a departmental meeting?

  • The reason is because making a presentation to a departmental meeting is simpler and easier as in this case I am aware of the facts that I am supposed to deliver and knows exactly the kind of questions to expect.(unlike in the case of of being interviewed of a news story that involves a serious accident at my company.
  • Secondly , my presentation is already documented , meaning i will have an easier an convenient way of going through the content (unlike in the case of an oral presentation)

Communication skills differ in the following ways;

(a) deliver an oral presentation to an external audience,-A lot of non verbal communication skills such as use of symbols and signs should be adopted.

(b) be interviewed for a news story that involves a serious accident at your company-The communication skills adopted in this case should be business communication skills.

(c) make a presentation to a departmental meeting-The communication skills adopted in this scenario should be personal communication skills.
