Is the postmodernism theory a materialist or idealist theory?

• According to me its more materialistic,because in the postmodern condition, everything is a commodity. That’s essentially it. The way our contemporary capitalism works is that everything becomes a product to be consumed (hence consumer society), losing all its socioeconomic and -political relevance.
• A lot of our everyday actions might be considered postmodern. Postmodern individuals mix pleasure and consumerism; they go shopping to have fun, they tend to be interconnected;checking Facebook and other social networks to be constantly aware of everything related to their entourage, travelling low cost and visiting countries easily in a standardized way, etc.; they are not spectators of the flow of information but actors (tweeting, commenting on blogs).
• The post-modern era has witnessed a huge expansion in media technology. One consequence of this is that our society has an increased reliance on the media to tell us what is going on in the world.
