Human resource management is the management of the employees of the organization. It involves recruitment of the employees, providing them with training and development , handling greivances etc. This is a crucial process for any organization as the organization is run by the human personnel. The different functional areas of HRM are talent acquisition it is the role of HRM to appoint the employees at a right quantity and the right time to ease the functioning of the organization. The other function is the maintainance of employee and labor relations which accounts for employee satisfaction in the company. The third function is managing the performance of the employees and also the function is to solve the grievances.

HRM plays a pivotal role in employee ethical issues as the human resource management uses the pre specified guidelines of the company and it solves the ethical issues by using these guidelines and companies policy. Some of the issue which the HRM solves are cash and incentive plans, it solves the isuues which arise due to employee discrimination. It also accounts for the performance appraisal of the employees in an ethical manner. It plays an important role in the safety and security of the employees.

The HR role has been changing in the recent times, due to globalization the awarenesss amongst the employees and human resource about and for their rights have be rising and to maintain the balance between the employee and organization growth the HR role has changed and risen significantly. The HR role has changed as now the duty of HR is not only to abide with companies policy and check the work performance of the personnel but also to ensure the growth amongst the employees. Now the human resource managers have to consider the componenets of human development index like the education , life expentancy etc to take into consideration of the employees.
